Chevrolet Camaro gets tuned by Wimmer RS and Audiovox

Audiovox has enlisted Wimmer RS to create a bespoke Chevrolet Camaro to promote the company's Magnat audio systems. Looking bold and aggressive, the one-off model has a two-tone exterior with a ground effects package and 22-inch Oxigin wheels wrapped in Yokohama Advan Sport tires. The Camaro's cabin has always been a bit of a disappointment, so Wimmer added leather / Alcantara seats and an Audiovox infotainment system. The coupe has also been equipped with a 4400 watt Magnat audio system that has digital amplifiers and two 30cm subwoofers. For added performance, the 6.2-liter V8 engine was outfitted with a revised ECU, an optimized air intake and a stainless steel sports exhaust system. Thanks to these tweaks, the engine produces 451 HP (332 kW) and 596 Nm (439 lb-ft) of torque which enables the car to hit a top speed of 274 km/h (170 mph).

THE AUDIO-CAMARO by MAGNAT
Originally built as a competitor against the Ford Mustang since 1966, the Chevrolet Camaro by GM sees the light of the day in the fifth generation since 2009 in the Canadian Oshawa and it is a typical representative of the so-called pony cars, which exist parallel to the also American vehicle class of muscle cars.
The firm AUDIOVOX from Pulheim, whose brand Magnat is inextricably linked with German sound technology, has optimized this Camaro visibly and audibly and turned into an impressive show car. To increase the engine performance a performance kit by the firm Wimmer racing engineering has been utilized. Due to a software customization, an optimization of the air induction and a stainless steel exhaust system the Magnat Camaro achieves now a performance of 332 kW or 451 hp and has a maximum torque of 596 Nm (at 4,300 r / min). The maximum speed after this power increase is 274 km/h.
To get this performance onto the street, the Magnat Camaro rolls on a grandiose wheel-tire combination by Oxigin in 10x22 inches all around with Yokohama Advan Sport tires in 265/30ZR22 at the front and 295/25ZR22 at the rear axle. The height adjustable KW coilover suspension, Variant 1, combines a perfect sporty handling with everyday practicality.
The fitted as standard, but very spartan interior has been exclusively equipped with high quality leather and Alcantara by Magnat. The diamond pattern of the seats underlines the sportive character and upgrades the interior clearly.
The new Audiovox VME 9520NAV, with its extensive equipment, such as navigation, Bluetooth hands-free system, iPod / iPhone control, DVD and linkage to the steering wheel remote control, handles the powerful Magnat 4400Watt system. 2-way component front system, coaxial rear system, 2x 30cm subwoofer and digital amplifiers transform the interior into a concert hall. The firmly installed Ipod serves as a database of all music requests. Whether it is rock, pop or classical, any style of music is played back impressively. The illuminated show installation in the trunk completes this great project impressively.

MINI GOES LOUD!
The new BMW-built edition of MINI, the British cult compact car, can be spotted on our streets with different body modifications. The Clubman, first presented in 2007 at the International Automobile Exhibition, was awarded with the Red Dot Design Award for its concept only a year after its release.
Mac Audio, manufacturers of amplifiers and loudspeakers, has customized Mini Clubman S, the most powerful version, into a unique Showcar.
The exterior of Mac Audio Mini radiates the glow with its new matte white special color. The previous quite sporty car appearance has been emphasized by John Cooper Works Bodykit. Thanks to the professionals on the Wimmer Rennsporttechnik team, the Mini features impressive 230 HP due to adjusted engine electronic system, a modified exhaust system and optimized air intake pipes.
To reap the fruits of this enormous performance potential on the streets, the Mac Audio Mini rolls on the tire/wheel combination of 15-inch Oxigin rims, 8' x 18' wheels (also painted in white with use of special coating) and 215/35-18 Yokohama Advan Sports tires . The Stoptech four-piston high performance brake system, the KW coilovers Variant 1 in Inox and the Sportster Recaro CS-seats convincingly top off the performance package.
Mac Audio put the greatest emphasis, however, on the interior of its Showcar. Here the job was entirely done by the company's own Professional Installation Team headed by Nic König.
12m2 of Dynamat Xtreme insulating material was used in order to eliminate vibration and rattling. Installation experts have mounted Mac Audio Star X 2.16 front and rear loudspeakers system in the modified door panels. This sophisticated job has resulted in brilliant high tone playback, clear midtones and a springy kickbass. The handmade 90-liter bass enclosure equipped with 3 x Mac Audio STX Reference-Woofers makes the Showcar quake and guarantees a real feeling of music. The 6 Micro X Series amplifiers with the maximum capacity of 3,900 Watt have enough sound in store for any musical taste. A visual highlight has been created by mounting the amplifiers in the headliner where they dramatically stand out over a giant mirror in the trunk floor. Extra batteries, buffer capacitors and cabling by Stinger provide ideal connection. The brain of the whole system is the Audiovox VME 9325BTA Head unit which enables the user to control navigation using iPod, iPhone, USB, DVB-T and Bluetooth by touchscreen. Perfect visual integration of audio components and an exclusive interior combination of leather and Alcantara puts the Mac Audio Mini way ahead of the series base model.
Being on the road in this four-wheel rocker is ... sheer joy.
